5 Necessities To: Celebrate Hanukkah

Happy holidays to all, and Happy Hanukkah as we are currently on the 2nd day of celebration!

Hanukkah is a prominent celebration throughout Judaism and occurs for 8 evenings where family and friends join together to reflect on the miracles of our history.

Long ago, the people of Jerusalem started the Maccabean Revolt in order to regain and rededicate our Second Temple from Greek-Syrian oppressors.

Now, we also reflect on the ‘Hanukkah Miracle’ of our ancestors and how when they believed they only had enough oil (which means enough candle light) to last 1 night, but miraculously the oil burned for 8 days long.

Hanukkah is also known as the “Festival of Light” and celebrated by Jewish people internationally.

Here are my top 5 and biggest necessities for you to successfully celebrate and honor Hanukkah!
